Brooke Lemmen, D.O.
Dr. Lemmen’s interest in working with athletes and sports began in her undergraduate training at Hope College in Holland, Michigan where she received her athletic training degree. She has been involved with Michigan State University since moving to Lansing for her medical school training at the College of Osteopathic Medicine. She stayed involved with sports medicine activities with Michigan State during her Primary Care training through Sparrow’s Family Medicine Residency Program. After residency training, she completed a Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at MSU Sports Medicine prior to joining the group as a faculty member and clinician.
In addition to seeing patients at the MSU Sports Medicine Clinic, Dr. Lemmen works with Women’s Basketball at MSU as well as with Athletics at Olivet College. Her main areas of interest include
gymnastics & dance.
Dr. Lemmen has a personal athletic background in gymnastics, springboard diving, and dance. She has worked extensively with local gymnastics teams and welcomes the opportunity to continue that work. She is also skilled in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) and uses these talents extensively in her work. Dr. Lemmen enjoys helping athletes of all ages and fitness levels to stay healthy and involved in their chosen activities.
