Andrew Schorfhaar, D.O.
Andrew Schorfhaar, D.O. completed his undergraduate degree at Western Michigan University. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Internship and Orthopaedic Surgical Residency were completed at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan. Dr. Schorfhaar completed a Fellowship in Orthpaedic Sports Medicine at the TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota under the direction of Dr. David Fischer, Dr. Robert LaPrade, Dr. Joel Boyd, Dr. John Steubs, Dr. Alan Markman, and Dr. Kirk Aadalen. In addition to specializing in knee and shoulder arthroscopy and reconstructive surgery, he also performs joint replacements and osteotomy.
Dr. Schorfhaar is the Team Physician for MSU Hockey and Swimming, Lansing Catholic Central High School, Lansing Lugnuts, and the Saturday Injury Clinic at Ingham Regional Medical Center. Dr. Schorfhaar currently operates out of Ingham Regional Medical Center, Sparrow Health System, and the Michigan Surgical Center.
