Josh Takagishi, M.D., FAAP
Josh Takagishi, M.D., FAAP grew up in the Lansing area and is a proud graduate of East Lansing High School. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota where he played 4 years of collegiate level hockey. Subsequently, Dr. Takagishi moved to Chicago, Illinois where he obtained his medical degree at Loyola University of Chicago and completed his Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Chicago. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Takagishi completed a Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Primary Care Sports Medicine.
He has since moved back to the Lansing area where he provides Pediatric and Sports Medicine care to children and young adults at MSU Sports Medicine and Lansing Pediatric Associates. He also works on a regular basis at the Saturday Injury Clinic at Ingham Regional Medical Center. He is also a Team Physician for Lansing Lugnuts and East Lansing High School.
